Meet The Team

  • SETI X

    Founder + Hip- Hop MC + Educator

    SETI X is a globally recognized hip-hop artist and educator whose work bridges music, justice, and community. As the founder of MusicTech Bay Area, he brings decades of experience in music production and youth empowerment — from the Bay to India and beyond. A core partner in the J Dilla Music Tech Grant, he helps youth find their voice, master industry tools, and build futures rooted in rhythm and resistance.
    His mission: elevate the next generation through sound, skill, and purpose.

  • DJ Delrokz

    Co-Founder + DJ + Educator

    DJ Delrokz is a Bay Area DJ and educator with over 20 years of experience behind the decks and in the classroom. As co-founder of MusicTech Bay Area, he helps youth explore DJing, beat-making, and digital creativity while building confidence and community.
    His mission: amplify youth voices through culture, craft, and connection.

  • Dakim

    Producer + Educator + Sound Architect

    Dakim is an acclaimed producer and teaching artist known for his abstract, soul-driven sound. As a lead mentor at MusicTech Bay Area, he guides youth through beat-making, sampling, and sonic experimentation using tools like Ableton Live.
    His mission: guide young creators into deeper sonic awareness and fearless self-expression.
